The results of ‘We love eating’ and ‘Together’ were presented on 1 December, together with other pan-European good practices on health promotion, at a cluster meeting organised by the European Consumers, Health and Food Executive Agency (CHAFEA).
The meeting aimed to showcase successful projects and their findings in the areas of nutrition and physical activity, facilitating their replication and use by policy makers, schools and the community. The overall focus was on the challenge of overweight and obesity in Europe.
This event was an opportunity to find out more about actions being taken to tackle unhealthy lifestyles at the European and national levels, and hear from EU leaders in the field. It was attended by health sector professionals and journalists, with presentations given by the EU project leaders, as well as representatives of the World Health Organization and the European Commission.
The meeting took place over three days, from 30 November to 2 December, in Budapest.
